Posted October 02, 2018 12:01:55Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver Dwayne “The Rock” Harris is set to join the Seo entertainment company, a joint venture between Seo and Seo Media Group, the Dallas Morning News reported Friday.
The news comes days after Seo acquired a majority stake in the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys, which means the team will be owned by Seo, not a parent company of Seo.
Harris is one of the top young receivers in the league and he was a standout player on the NFL combine.
The Cowboys were founded in 2004 by Jerry Jones and Bob Harriss.
Harris was an assistant coach in the mid-2000s before heading to the NFL as a player.
He went on to become one of Seotas top targets for free agency and was signed by the New York Giants in 2012.
The move brings the Dallas Cowboys into the elite ranks of NFL franchises.
The Dallas Cowboys were the first team to own the NFL, after the Philadelphia Eagles in the 1999 season.
They have the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft.
The team has not won a Super Bowl since the 1999 game.
Seo, which has a portfolio of sports, entertainment, education and healthcare, will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Seoe.
Seotas parent company, Lufthansa, said in a statement that it is looking forward to bringing its expertise to Seo with the help of the Dallas company.
“We are very excited to bring Seo to our board,” Lufstansa CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke said in the statement.
“The partnership will provide the right balance between our diverse portfolio and Seoe’s global leadership in sports, content and innovation.”
The Cowboys signed Harris to a four-year contract with a base salary of $1.4 million per season.
He has not played since he was drafted No. 7 overall by the Dallas Texans in 2017.
