Nintendo’s upcoming NX console is set to feature an iconic logo designed by Japanese studio Seo Taiyou.
The logo is also set to be the default for many of the game systems and game apps, including Nintendo Switch.
The company revealed the logo last month at its annual corporate event in Tokyo.
Seo Taiso also created Nintendo characters for the Nintendo Switch and the NX hardware.
Seo-Tzu is a Japanese word for “star” and was created in response to the popular Pokémon video game series.
The trademark was first registered in April 2016, and it is the only one Seo Tzu has designed.
It was designed by Yoshihiro Nishimura, a member of Seo Team.
Nishimura’s previous designs included Pokémon characters like Pikachu and Charmander.
Seotas logo has since been featured in the Nintendo 3DS, the Nintendo NX, and the Nintendo Wii U, as well as in a number of Nintendo mobile titles.
Nintendo confirmed that the logo would be used for the NX on its official website, which revealed that it would be displayed on both the main console and handheld versions of the console.
Seogyu and the company SeoTaiyou are now working on a game titled, “Eternal Journey” that will be released for Nintendo Switch in 2018.
Seon Taiyou and Seogyu will also be making a game for the Xbox One, and Nintendo said that it is currently working on additional titles for both platforms.
Seongyeon Park is a game director at Seo Group and a director at Konami.
He has previously worked on projects at Nintendo and Sony, and is currently the director of games at the company.
